APB Wins 'Best Sustainability Report'

HEINEKEN's Asia Pacific Breweries Limited (APB) has
been awarded the top accolade at the ACCA Singapore's
Sustainability Reporting Awards 2013. According to the
judges' report, APB's 2012 sustainability report 'More
Than Meets the Eye', stood out for its overall presentation,
comprehensiveness and readability, and was commended
for demonstrating clearly the relationship between
sustainability, business operations and financial
performance.

won gold at the prestigious Monde Selection
Quality Awards for the fourth year running.
On this occassion 'Rechitskoe Svetloe' pale
lager was chosen as the jury's favourite.

Since April this year, Wieckse Witte has been brewed using
solar energy at its Dutch Brewery in Den Bosch. 3,632 solar
panels on the brewery's roof produce enough renewable
energy to cover the electricity requirements to brew Wieckse
Witte. Other solar energy projects within HEINEKEN are
under way around the world, including Bergamo and
Massafra in Italy, and Alken-Maes in Belgium. One more
reason to feel good while enjoying a beer...
