This summer, the 30th edition of the celebrated Montreal Jazz Festival will entertain
the Quebecois capital of Montreal. Over two million jazz lovers are expected to
attend the event, which is one of the largest of its kind in the world. The event will
feature over 3,000 artists hailing from dozens of nations. The festival boasts over
650 concerts, most of which will take place in the heart of downtown Montreal.
Among this year's headlining acts are the likes of Stevie Wonder, Oliver Jones and
Tony Benett. Fleineken Canada will this year again be the Festival's exclusive beer
sponsor.

Starting in July, Athenian Brewery will carry out the 'Amstel Eco Bar', a month-long
campaign to encourage cleaner shorelines at ten beaches across Greece, from Crete
to Thessaloniki. Activities include encouraging visitors to pick up garbage on the beach,
and conducting environmental information sessions in which participants can win gifts
from Amstel. 'Amstel Eco Bar' is part of'Amstel Eco', Athenian Brewery's environmental
campaign programme. Through this programme, Athenian Brewery has participated
involuntary beach cleaning efforts in May and June as part of the'Clean Mediterranean
Sea' campaign organised in collaboration with the non-governmental organization MED
SOS. Last year, around 7,700 people participated in the Amstel Eco campaign.

The wildly popular American rock band Linkin' Park will be visiting the Pacific island
of Taiwan this August, courtesy of Fleineken. Around 30,000 fans are expected to
attend their concert, which will be held in Taipei's Soccer stadium as a part of the
Fleineken Original Rock series. The event will be massively publicised by Fleineken
Taiwan, which will be giving away tickets as well as the opportunity to Meet Greet
Linkin' Park's rockers.
