CANADA
The Canadian beer market is on
the move and in Heineken's
favour. With the appointment of
John Kennedy as the Heineken
representative for Canada, the
sales of Heineken beer in this
huge country have started to
increase rapidly. Therefore in this
issue of The World of Heineken
we focus special attention on
Canada, the country with two
languages, two cultures and even
more beer markets.
SYDNEY
Heineken is the most international brewery in the world, with its
roots in the Netherlands. This relationship with the Netherlands
has a particularly strong presence during the Olympic Games.
Heineken is sponsoring the Holland Heineken House in Sydney,
Australia, during the 2000 Olympic Games, as it did in Atlanta and
Nagano. The Holland Heineken House is a meeting place for Dutch
athletes, officials, the press and supporters.
