J V* v Bulgaria looks to be a promising market Bulgaria: once upon a time it was arguably the most anonymous country in the East Bloc. Czechoslovakia had its Prague Spring in 1968, Hungary had its uprising in 1956, Romania had its infamous dictator Ceausescu and Poland had its strike leader Walesa. And Bulgaria? Tourists holidayed on the Black Sea coast and that was more or less it. For Heineken, too, Bulgaria long remained unknown territory. It was only in 1992 that Bulgaria could be coloured green on the Heineken map of the world. Thanks to lavor Todorov. UNPS ON THE ROAD TO SUCCESS
