Alfred Heineken was elected
'Advertiser of the Year' during the
Cannes International Advertising
Festival held in June 1995. In this edi
tion of The World of Heineken an
interview with Alfred Heineken: "I'm
afraid the secret will get out that I'm a
genius".
Stena and Heineken
A cellar beer installation on board
a ship? Stena Ferries and Heineken
prove that it's possible. The two ves
sels which operate the ferry service
between Harwich and the Hook of
Holland have been fitted with a cellar
beer system.
Lebanon
For seventeen long years a civil
war raged in Lebanon. But the coun
try is shaking off the past and building
for the future. As is Gabriel Bocti, this
year celebrating 20 years as Heineken
agent. An unconditional faith in the
brand and enormous dedication are
characteristic of this agent's achieve
ments.
Poland
The Polish brewery Zywiec, in
which Heineken has a stake of almost
25%, can look back on a very satisfac
tory 1994. But looking ahead is more
interesting; with the help of Heineken
the brewery has started expanding its
capacity.
New campaign
'Requested in more countries than
any other beer'. That is the slogan for
the new international campaign
which Heineken has had developed.
Intended for international media in
Europe and Asia, the campaign
should also bring added value to local
campaigns.
