Metamorphosis
The metamorphosis that is needed
to transform the Golf Club in
Noordwijk into suitable accommo
dation for a world-scale event is set in
motion one week before the tourna
ment begins, big tents (for hospitality
and for the press) are erected,
grandstands put into place, flags,
advertising billboards and signposts
are positioned, and the interior fur
nishings installed in the marquees.
Much attention is devoted specifically
to the hospitality tent to ensure a per
fect Heineken image.
