Elegant ambiance and Heineken go together perfectly as you can see at this large
"Mosler Safe" party held recently in Atlanta, Ga. Here are some enthusiastic party goers
making a toast with Heineken on draught, the exclusive beverage—and 19 barrels were
consumed at the event. That equates at 114 cases or 2,736 bottles. That's a lot of Heine
ken.

Real Live Heineken six-pack that won two
prizes for costumes in two bars—$400 all
told. The ingenious outfit photo was sent in
by Mr. and Mrs. Gary Polonski of Middle Is
land, NY. You can't miss with Heineken!

St. Patrick would
surely approve these
two special Heineken
promotion pieces hon-
oring his day. The
large poster was
widely used around
Trrrrrr the country and, natu
rally, a lot of people showed their
true colors. The lapel sticker very
likely generated a lot of sales and
perhaps some kisses as well!

The front lawn of an apartment in Syra
cuse, N.Y., had a real, traffic-stopping
scene—over 708 cases of Heineken con
taining 16,992 empty Heineken bottles.
They were put on the lawn by tenants,
Dave Krauscharr and Steve Pokren-
towski, who not only have a deep affec
tion for Heineken, but like to keep the
empties. It took them 30 hours to clear
their apartment.
The men started collecting two years
ago but it got a little out of hand! Just be
fore the bottles were hauled away to a re
cycling plant the two Heineken lovers
celebrated the house cleaning by open
ing another Heineken six-pack.
Fabulous setting for a Heineken party
with that giant banner and P.O.S. pieces
all over. It happened at Hostos College in
the Bronx, NY. Before the night was over
that big stack of Heineken cans in the
background was consumed.
