Chicago's St. Patrick's Day Parade was a
giant "greenie" day. Just before the pa
rade, in photo below, the South Side
Irish Rugby team marchers expressed
their sentiments about Heineken with
the "St. Paddy loved it" sign. In the bot

CALLE OCHO Carnaval. Miami, Fla.A tre
mendous, week long festival in "Little Havana"
that ended with a fantastic parade. An esti
mated 450,000 people attended the event and
Desi Arnaz was King of the Carnival. VMCO
Rep Gorge Dominguez and Sergio Godinez,
Universal Brand's Manager, did a super job
placing POS all over plus T-shirts that featured,
in Spanish, "Come to think of it, I'll have a
Heineken." The result of this huge cooperative
promotion of VMCO and Universal Brands
an additional 3,000 cases of Heineken were
sold. In the Heineken "official car" above are,
left to right Gorge Dominguez and Ed Abdella,
VMCO Reps, Madeline and Lizette Dominguez
and Serge Godinez, Universal Brands.

right, Mitchell College in New London had a
Heineken night, too, decorated with giant
Heineken posters. Glen Wilkie, Salesman for
Tri-County Distributors, East Lyme, helped
make it a big success.
