THOUSANDS SEE HEINEKEN'S
AT TRADE SHOWS
More than 32,000 retail dealers from New
York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts,
D.C., Maryland and Rhode Island visited the
Heineken's display in Room 501 at the New
York Trade Show Building during the recent
Beverage Retailer Weekly Holiday Packaging
Show.
Mr. Joseph Matzner, publisher of the Bev
erage Retailer Weekly (and one of Heineken's
oldest and dearest friends), congratulates Mr.
van Munching for his splendid job in making
Heineken's the largest selling imported beer in
America. Mr. Matzner recalled Mr. van Munch-
There was "Standing Room Only" on open
ing day in spite of stormy weather outside. Store
owners, tavern owners, bartenders and store
clerks braved the elements to attend what could
very well be the industry's most heavily attended
exposition.
This year's National Hotel Show again
brought our many Heineken's friends to our
booth on the third floor of the New York
Coliseum.
Visitors at the exposition included owners
and managers of America's foremost Hotels,
Clubs and Restaurants. As usual, their interest
in Heineken's was for both prestige and profits.
So great was the attendance at our booth, that
we exhausted our entire supply of folders and
booklets.
