On January 15 th, the Wine and Food Society of Southern California held a
Rijstafel in Los Angeles.
A number of imported beers were served with a buffet of more than 30 dishes.
These connoisseurs participated in judging the flavor and quality of the various
brands of imported beers. We have set-forth a letter from Doctor Marcus Crahan
Chairman of the society, who states "Heineken's rated 77.5 in the judging, scoring

RELAXING WITH BEER
It has long been said that a glass of beer
upon retiring is an excellent way to assure
one's self of a good night's rest.
The Laboratory of Applied Biodynam-
ics at Yale University has gone one step
further and has conducted extensive tests
on hypertension. Their findings are of
extreme interest and show that beer helps
the human body withstand the wear and
tear on the nervous system that comes
from noise and daily stress.
Just imagine receiving all these
benefits and the unmatched flavor of
Heineken's all at the same time. What
more can you ask?
