T is nice to be able to report to
you that the sales of Heineken' s
continue to show a substantial in
crease during the months of July and
August as compared with last year
We may all agree that the weather
had something to do with this but
I, for one, feel that our happy family
is mostly responsible for the orders
that keep on rolling in. As a matter of
fact, we were rather pleased when the
Brewery cabled us not so long ago to
rush additional supplies of American
bottles as our orders had exhausted
their supplies completelyIt did not
do too much harm as we had already
made arrangements to ship additional
Owens-Illinois bottles by boat.
According to the reports received
from Amsterdam, there have been
many Americans who have visited the
Brewery and many new friends made
Shipments to Bermuda and Nas
sau also continue to be much heavier
than before while the Liquor Com
mission of Ontario, Canada has placed
their first Heineken s order. Shipments
to the American forces overseas are
also

Under the auspices of The Netherlands Chamber of Commerce for the
Pacific Coast states, the Fourth Annual World Trade Fair recently held in
San Francisco also included an attractive exhibit for Heineken's Beer. Much
interest was created and many prominent guests to the luncheon enjoyed
Heineken's which was served as part of the meal.
