The taxes we pay make an important contribution
to the economies and development of the countries
in which we operate. We believe responsible
tax behaviour is an essential element of our
sustainability strategy.
We support stable, transparent and predictable tax
regimes that incentivise long-term investment and
economic growth. We also support the principles
that underpin the OECD's work on Base Erosion and
Profit Shifting (BEPS), including country-by-country
reporting to the tax authorities.

Local sourcing of packaging materials
in Africa
With operations in over 70 countries, our main
contribution to local economies and communities
is through our core business: creating jobs, paying
taxes and generating business in the supply chain.
For example in Africa, now more than 90% of our
packaging materials are sourced through local suppliers
instead of being imported.
