Renowned for many years as a vigorous
champion and sponsor of sport, Heine-
ken will next year tackle the most im
portant project it has ever undertaken in
this sphere.
The company will be responsible for the
1979 World Cycling Championships,
which are to be held in the Netherlands.
The work of organisation has already
begun, for Heineken's task goes far
beyond sponsorship. It is a complete
business venture. And any profit from
the returns will go to the cause of Dutch
cycling in general. Heineken holds all
publicity rights. There are a few promo
tional opportunities and any companies
