Boat-builder John Young of Charle ston spent a Sunday putting an extra shelf on the wall in his house he needed it to be able to display the cups that had been presented to him at the 'laying-up supper' of the Pent ewan Sands Sailing Club. Mr. Young, Secretary of the Club, won 7 of the 10 cups for which he was qualified to compete. He sails in a recondition ed catamaran that for three years had been left to rot near his work shop, and that he has christened 'Lady Heineken' after his favourite drink.
