This September, the tenth edition of Rock in Rio, the
largest music and entertainment festival ever, will be
held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Uniting people from all
over the world, Rock in Rio is the perfect opportunity for
Heineken® to stand out and connect with consumers
through music. The 2011 festival will be followed by a
2012 edition in both Spain and Portugal. Rock on!

In 2010, HEINEKEN in the USA partnered with Taxi Magic to sponsor a
US-wide free online taxi booking service as part of its responsible consumption
programming. Following its huge success, HEINEKEN has renewed the
partnership with Taxi Magic and will continue to offer this convenient app,
which allows customers to book a taxi, track its progress and pay for the ride
directly via a smartphone, mobile phone or computer.
Activations in key cities and promotions, such as joint branded Heineken®/Taxi
Magic coasters and posters, resulted in more than 173,000 downloads of the
app between launch in March and end of 2010,36% above the goal set, and
most importantly, consumers who arrived home safely after a night out.
NAMIBIA
With the financial support of the HEINEKEN Africa
Foundation, the people of Namibia gained a brand new
'Mister Sister' mobile primary health care clinic in June this
year, the first in a series of three to be delivered over this year
and next. These clinics will provide mobile health services
to remote populations on a fixed route schedule in the
Otjozondjupa, Omaheke and Khomas regions of Namibia.
HEINEKEN in Spain has introduced its first pop
up shop. The shop brings the Heineken® brand
alive in a retail environment through interactive
screens, virtual games, displays, sale and
sampling of an extensive range of products,
as well as promotions and exclusive gifts.
Consumers can also try pouring the perfect
virtual Heineken® beer with the Tap Challenge
simulator and personalise their own Heineken®
bottle using the online application Your
Heineken®. The Heineken® Store has popped
up in Madrid, San Sebastian and Valencia, and
will continue its tour through Spain over the
coming months.
