Wild Party
When consumers start the film, they
are invited to join a party that is in full
swing behind closed doors. As the party
continues, the viewer is offered a number
of opportunities to interact and options that
allow them to personalise the story. This
new commercial also gives the consumer
the option to link with their Facebook page
in return for access to additional interactive
features. The viewer is then able to see
photos of their friends embedded in the video
clip, reinforcing the idea that Desperados
enables the consumer to experience their
own perfect party.
This personal touch helps create brand
loyalty and makes the commercial striking
and memorable, leading to a secondary
FULLY INTERACTIVE
Hotspots on the screen, for example, allow
the viewer to click on the video to break
down walls or change the volume of the
music. Even the standard progress bar at the
bottom of the video gets a unique function -
allowing the viewer to interact with the party.
The video also 'falls' out of the standard
YouTube viewer at one point, as if the party is
extending beyond it.
