Alfred H. Heineken's legacy includes more than just his
family's internationally successful brewing business. He
was ahead of his time in recognising the importance of
corporate social responsibility. He established the Heineken
Prizes 46 years ago to support and promote the arts and
sciences, an initiative continued by his family today.
