In an effort to encourage manufacturers to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions,
various governments around the world are proposing 'carbon footprint' product
labelling. This would be a voluntary code of practice, using a standard method of
measuring C02 emissions. With many of our customers actively supporting such
initiatives and consumers looking for ways to reduce their individual environmental
impact, Heineken is proactiveiy looking for new ways to meet its long-term ambition
of becoming the world's greenest brewer.
