In April, Heineken Slovensko introduced
the first Orion draught beer system to
the Slovakian beer market. Orion is an
ingenious system, developed for those
on-premise customers with an average
annual volume of 100 hectolitres or more.
It offers convenience and cost savings
for the company's biggest customers,
and superior beer quality for consumers.
What's more, it produces a smaller carbon
footprint than traditional kegs.

The market received the innovative Orion
system with much enthusiasm. Door

face a gradual decline in volume and fierce

one of the tools to arrest that decline, and

HOW DOES IT WORK?
Orion comes with a touch screen computer
located behind the bar - the Clever unit -
that controls and monitors every aspect
of serving draught beer. The screen shows
the volume content of every tank and the
temperature of the beer inside. When a tank
