"Heineken refreshes" was a playful campaign featuring
Star Trek's Mr. Spock, among others.
WHERE:
These iconic ads were produced and used across the
UK, when Whitbread began marketing the Heineken
brand.
WHEN:
First launched in the UK in 1973, and remained
immensely popular throughout the 1980s.
WHO:
The campaign was created by Terry Lovelock, who
worked for the advertising legend Sir Frank Lowe.
