On Saturday June 7,168 lucky Finns were flown to
London to see the Foo Fighters live in concert at the
brand new Wembley Stadium, courtesy of Foster's
Music.
Visitors to the Foster's Music website in Finland were
ask to vote on whether they would prefer to attend a
gig featuring the Foo Fighters, Alicia Keys or Bullet For
My Valentine at one of Europe's major concert halls.
The Foo Fighters clinched the top spot with 53 per cent
of the votes. Winners were drawn at random in early
April from all entries received.
"Foster's wants to offer Finns unique music
experiences," says Pekko Koski, Foster's Brand Manager
for Hartwall. "The Foo Fighters' mega concert at
London's enormous Wembley Stadium was certainly
an unforgettable experience. A promotion of this size
hasn't been seen in Finland for a long time."
The Foo Fighters, founded by former Nirvana drummer
Dave Grohl, is one of the world's most successful rock
bands, selling over 20 million albums worldwide and
taking home four Grammy Awards. The 90,000 tickets
available for the London gig at Wembley Stadium were
sold out in 15 minutes.

Heineken hosted a range of premium activities in the run-up
to the UEFA Champions League 2008 final. The competition
is the world's most celebrated club football tournament. The
final was held at the Luzhniki Olympic Complex in Moscow,
Russia on May 21. Manchester United beat Chelsea only after
an exhilarating penalty shoot-out.
Heineken invited more than 1,000 trade partners and
consumers to Moscow, offering them exclusive VIP treatment
throughout the final match. Guests received a ticket to the
big game, as well as invitations to a range of pre and post-
match activities hosted by Heineken. They were also granted
access to the stadium's exclusive Champion's Village.
In addition to all on-site activities, the Heineken Star Final
allowed football fans who couldn't make it to see the game at
a Grand Safari location just outside Johannesburg. The event
gave 150 fans from around the world the chance to watch the
final live from beautiful Johannesburg in South Africa. Last
year, Heineken hosted the Star Final in an exclusive location
in Iceland.
In May this year, Heineken renewed its contract with UEFA to
sponsor the UEFA Champions League for a further 3 years.
Heineken will remain one of the principal sponsors of the
