Lebanese Almaza was awarded the Pikasso characteristic to Lebanon's renowned
de Bronze, a prestigious national media
prize that rewards the best creative
billboard campaign of the year, according
to internationally recognized selection
standards. Les Affichages Pikasso is the
leading outdoor advertising agency in
Lebanon. The Almaza teaser campaign
showed people looking off into the
distance in two different settings: against
a mountain backdrop, and on Lebanon's
summery seaside. These visuals,
landscape, were coupled with the basic
message: "hold your head up high." The
revealer, following the teaser campaign,
showed everybody holding their heads up
high while taking a swig of Almaza.

Heineken USA and RealNetworks team up to deliver
free music download
Heineken USA and RealNetworks spice up
the summer digital music season, as they
team up to deliver free music downloads.
Every specially marked 12-pack of
Heineken in the USA includes a unique
code redeemable for two free music
downloads from RealNetworks' RealPlayer
Music Store. Consumers can redeem their
free downloads through the RealPlayer
Music Store, which is integrated into
Realplayer 10, the latest media player
from RealNetworks. Heineken is supporting
the effort with a comprehensive marketing
programme, which includes national TV,
print, radio, online, on-package, in-store,
and on-premise promotion. This initiative
is timed to coincide with availability of the
specially marked 12-packs in US stores.
Heineken Hong Kong has launched the
PACO bottle as Heineken ïto in twelve top
outlets. A high profile launch party was
organised at the famous Keeclub in Central
Hong Kong, to celebrate the event. Over
800 people, including many celebrities,
designers and models were at the party
with DJ's and live acts from France, the UK
and Japan. A huge crowd turned up for the
party, accompanied by a massive media
lineup, there to interview and photograph
the celebrities that entered the Keeclub.
More parties followed and Ora ïto himself,
who designed the bottle, joined the
festivities in June at a trendy design party.
