Thirst, the ongoing worldwide Heineken
dance event, won the gold award for the
best integrated campaign in the Recreation,
Concerts, Plays and Entertainment Events
category of the Mobius Advertising Awards.
Over 5,000 candidates from 37 countries
entered the competition, proving the
Thirst project to be among the best in the
world. Heineken Music Releases Thirst
prides itself on being a lot more than just
a club night. The events are dance music
spectaculars, supported by an extensive
communication and marketing plan using
TV, radio, outdoor, new media, internet,
promotions, in bar activity and PR. The tour
visits over 40 cities throughout 2003-2004

website, www.heinekenswitzerland.com.
The website has been launched to
communicate with the press and other
parties about important local issues like
social responsibility and specific market
news. The international corporate website,
www.heinekeninternational.com was used
as a base to develop the Swiss version, using
strict content and design requirements to
meet specific market demands, without
compromising the overall look and feel of
the international corporate website. Other
countries will follow in the near future,
