The Heineken DraughtKeg is a welcome guest at any social event.
Whether indoors at a birthday party, or outdoors at a barbeque
or poolside, the DraughtKeg feels right at home. The system is
completely portable, weighing in at only 5.5 kilograms and it
offers a fresh and high quality draught experience without the
need of any other equipment but a standard fridge. After ten
hours of cooling, the portable keg is ready to go. The dispensing
system - containing a taphandle and tappipe - comes in a blister
pack, which is attached to the keg. The keg contains 4.75 litres
of beer (around 21 glasses) and features a top-feeding mechanism
and patented technology that guarantees constant pressure and
high quality beer. Because of the C02-based intelligent pressure
system, the beer stays fresh for three weeks after opening, and
the keg can be used for more than one session. The DraughtKeg
was successfully tested in various countries and targets those
consumers who for example enjoy a party in or around the house,
go to the park or the beach or meet with friends at various
outdoor events.
With the DraughKeg these consumers are able to bring draught
beer with them, in a convenient, easy to dispose package that is
also fun to use. Therefore the system is expected to become a
successful addition to the Heineken Beer System family. It was
introduced by Heineken USA this June, followed by many countries
in the future.
