Heineken USA announced a major partner
ship with Warner Bros. Pictures surroun
ding the release of the highly anticipated
film The Matrix Reloaded. The second
instalment in The Matrix trilogy, The Matrix
Reloaded, started in theatres nationwide
on May 15th, 2003. The action thriller
The Matrix won four Academy Awards and
accumulated over $475 million in worldwide
box office. Heineken and Warner Bros
teamed up for an integrated marketing
programme, including television adver
tising, online extensions, on-premise
materials and specially designed promotion
materials. Heineken has been associated
with many top-grossing motion pictures
over the last years, and 2003 is destined
to be the year of The Matrix.

of the St. Lucia Jazz Festival for the 11th
