Even at Christmas time his

as the Bieniek home boasts
three Christmas trees
during that period: a tree
for the family, a Christmas

made of bottles of
Heineken Beer. We've no
idea how long his
Heineken tree remains
intact!

On the Canary Islands a
giant-sized Heineken neon
sign has been installed.
The enormous structure is
over 12 metres wide in total
and more than seven
metres high. The glass
alone measures 2.90 by
5.60 metres. The sign has
been installed on a tower
near the football stadium of
U.D. Las Palmas on the
island of Gran Canaria.
Thanks to the stadium's
favourable location at a
point where many roads
intersect, the neon sign has
a very high public profile.
The advertising world is
also enthusiastic about the
final result. Atlantis
Publicidad, the advertising
agency of Heineken
Canarias, won a prize for
this neon sign as the best
outdoor advertisement
during the 'Vulcan 94 de
Communication y
Publicidad', a local adverti
sing competition.
