VMCO DMs Earn a Trip to Ireland,
Home of the World's Finest Stout
The Biggest Names in Tennis Meet the Biggest Name in
Imported Light Beer...Amstel Light!
By reaching their respective distribu
tion goals for Murphy's Irish Stout on
Draft in 1992, three VMCO Division
Managers won a chance to see
Murphy's homeland; Ireland. Though
they were also able to visit the lovely
counties of Dublin and Kerry, the
clear highlight of the trip was the
VMCO delegation's visit to County
Cork, and the renowned Murphy
Brewery.
Pictured here, from left to right, are
Michael Foley, Managing Director of
Murphy Brewery Ireland Ltd.; Scott
DeMartine, VMCO Western Division
Manager; Mary Walsh, from the
brewery's export department; George
Kahl, VMCO Vice President/Market
ing; Jim Norton, VMCO Mid-Atlantic
Division Manager; Dan Neglia, VMCO
Eastern Division Manager; Eamonn
O'Sullivan, Murphy's Brand Manager
world-wide; and Bob Kennefick,
Murphy's Export Director.
The group is standing in front of a
new atrium, built as part of a ten-year
renovation of the nearly century-and-
a-half-old brewery. In addition to all
new offices, the brewery itself has
been completely rebuilt to house
millions of dollars in new brewing
equipment.
