100TH HEINEKEN DIRECT CONTAINER TO PORT OF
PHILADELPHIA IN '75 ARRIVES VIA U.S. LINES
The dramatic sales increases of
Heineken Holland Beer in the Phila
delphia area were recently attested to
by the welcoming of its 100th direct
container shipment during 1975. On
hand to greet the milestone container
were representatives of the Van
Munching 8c Co., Inc. sales force, dis
tributors, customs brokers and steam
ship lines, as well as the U.S. Customs
Service and the Port of Philadelphia.
The large group attending the occa
sion underlined its importance, both
in terms of the tremendous increase in
Heineken sales in the area, and in
terms of the great transportation busi
ness those sales represent.
Looking forward to the coming year,
it is expected that the increased eco
nomic activity in The Bicentennial City
during 1976 will increase Heineken
beer sales to even higher levels.
