VAN MUNCHING PRESENTED WITH NEW YORKER AWARD
'75 VMCO SUPPORT STAYS STRONG FOR HEINEKEN
RECORD ADVERTISING SALES PROMOTION BUDGET
During 1975, Heineken Holland
Beer will again be heavily supported
with a record consumer/trade adver
tising and sales promotion budget.
Full-page, full-color national maga
zine advertisements and a heavy sche
dule of major-market radio will run
throughout the year. In total, the
Heineken consumer advertising cam
paign will develop over 744,500,000
advertising impressions on a national
basis to support the sales success of
"The 1 Imported Beer in the U.S.A.".
The successful '74 Heineken Stem
ware promotion, which moved 60,000
glasses to consumers nationally, will
again be repeated in 1975. Couponed
advertisements will appear in such na
tional magazines as "Sports Illus
trated" and "New Yorker" to again
place these Heineken buying remind
ers in more beverage-serving homes.
In addition to consumer advertis
ing, the 1975 campaign will be sup
plemented with trade advertising to
retailers, and to major beverage buyers
in clubs, restaurants, and hotels. Re
tailer newspapers across the country
and such magazines as "Hotel/Motel
Management", "Club Management"
and "Hospitality" will reach impor
tant trade buyers throughout the year
to stress the #1 position and accep
tance of Heineken Holland Beer.
A wide variety of Heineken prestige
point-of-sale material will continue
to be available in 1975 for all on- and
off-premise accounts. Each p.o.s. piece,
carefully designed to compliment con
sumer advertising and present a qual
ity buying message, will continue to
be reviewed and improved to meet
marketing needs. The complete line
includes items in both illuminated
and non-illuminated versions for Hei
neken in bottles, on draught, and also
for Heineken Special Dark Beer.
VMCO advertising/sales promotion
for Heineken in '75 is a thorough and
complete package to support the field.
