Beginning in October, and running
thru December, a heavy Heineken
Radio Campaign has been mounted
for New York, Chicago, Los Angeles,
Boston, and Washington, D.C., and
Miami to further support Heineken
holiday sales in major markets.
Top-rated stations in each market
will be carrying the new Heineken
commercial with new original music
blending with the theme "Heineken
tastes tremendous no wonder its
#1". The commercial was first aired
during the Spring/Summer campaign
and was highly rated by consumer and
trade listeners throughout the country.
The new Heineken radio campaign
adds additional advertising weight in
major markets to an expanded na
tional magazine schedule already a
part of the Million Dollar Plus adver
tising support currently promoting
the Heineken brand to the consumer.
As observed by Mr. L. van Munch
ing, President of VMCO, "the Heine
ken Holiday Radio Campaign again
indicates that the Heineken brand will
continue to be strongly promoted to
insure our continued sales growth".
This year s Heineken Holiday Dis
play Unit mounts a three-dimensional
gold frame around a full-color repro
duction of the Heineken national
magazine advertisement. The eye
catching display background is green
foil to capture consumer attention.
The handsome multi-purpose unit
can be used as a counter display, win
dow display or as a header card on the
Heineken Corrugated Floor Stand to
create a Heineken Holiday Display.
