There are many who consider statistics
to be dull yet, at times, the facts they
reveal make interesting reading, indeed.
For example, some figures which have
recently been released establish the fact
that Holland, again, has maintained lead
ership as the world's top exporter of beer.
In 1955, over 16 million gallons of
Holland beer (the brand name is a deep,
dark secret!were shipped to all parts of
the world, as against 13-9 millions in
1954, and 13-4 million gallons in 1953.
The value of last year's exports is esti
mated at approximately 55 million guild
ers. The export of Holland beer before
the war amounted to no more %han 2.6
million gallons yearly less than 17%
of the 1955 figure.
Of course, this all goes to prove that,
throughout the world, tip other name on
a bottle of beer means so much as
(Can you finish this sentence?)

Heineken's Holland beer to delight
your palate.

He grabbed me 'round my slender neck—
I could not call nor scream
And dragged me to his lonely room
Where we could not be seen.
He tore away my flimsy wrap
And gazed upon my form;
I was cold and damp and scared
While he was terribly warm.
He drained me of my very self;
I could not make him stop
Pressing his feverish lips to mine.
I gave him every drop.
He made me what I am today,
That's why you find me here
A broken bottle, thrown away,
That once was full of beer.
