CONVENTIONS OF 1955
Progress of The
Von Munching Organization
New Faces
During 1955 our company has again participated in a number of con
ventions in various parts of the United States and we thought that you would
be interested in looking at some of the pictures taken at these conventions
where many of our wholesalers visited our displays and where we greeted new
distributors and sales personnel, acquainting them with our setup.
We have made it a practice to attend the national conventions and some
state conventions where our business warrants it. It is obvious that we would
not be in a position to attend every convention throughout the country.
Any suggestions from our readers in this respect will be appreciated.

In addition to the growing sales of
Heineken's, it will interest you to
know that our organization has been
expanded to now include our own
office in Chicago at 228 No. LaSalk
Street, under the guidance and man
agement of Leo Van Munching, Jr. to
supervise our mid-western sales.
In Beverly Hills, California, we
have opened an office at 257 No.
Robertson Blvd. under the manage
ment of Grenville C. Harris and Jules
Berman, to take care of our business
in the Pacific Coast area.
To take care of our business in the
Southern States, we now have an office
at 351 Sevilla Avenue, Coral Gabies,
Florida, under the capable direction
of Ray DeBowes.
These division operations further
include the Eastern Division under
James P. Connelly at our main office
at 6 West 48th Street in New York
where the entire national operation
is being guided by its President, Leo
van Munching, and his staff.
We believe that by having the divi
sion offices operate individually in
the field, there is a great deal more
efficiency and personal attention ren
dered to our wholesalers. We shortly
plan to expand our advertising and
publicity department so that more
and further attention can be given
to the requirements of point-of-sale
and other advertising items to our
customers.
Our national advertising campaign
in leading magazines, trade papers,
radio, etc., as well as the best man
power organization to assist our many
wholesalers in the promotion of
Heineken's will continue to maintain
for us our leadership in the imported
beer field.
At the Convention in Atlantic City of the National Package Store Owners Association,
Mr. Benjamin Josephs, President of the Association, visits our booth and is greeted
by James P. Connelly, our Eastern Sales Manager and Roy Hayman, our representa
tive for the Mid-Atlantic States.
Since it would fill almost a full
page to list the names and addresses
of the new distributors, who have
joined our happy Heineken family in
1955, we shall await the next issue and
shall then again run the regular
column of new faces.
