Cambodia The expanding Cambodian economy and robust beer market, that grew by an estimated 25 percent last year, drove an impressive growth. New Zealand The increasing preference for premium beers in New Zealand has resulted in a growing demand for Heineken as well as other premium beers in the portfolio. However, the mature market also saw competition intensifying with the entry of several new brands and their aggressive pricing strategies. Amstel Light was successfully launched and it captured 40 percent of the light beer market in just 2 years. Overall, volumes rose 3 percent.
