As already announced, Mr. A.H. Heineken
will be retiring from the Executive Board
at the forthcoming shareholders'
meeting. He has been a member
of the Board for more than 25 years,
including 18 years as Chairman.
During that period the Company has
grown to be one of the world's largest
brewery enterprises. To a considerable
extent this position has been achieved
thanks to Mr. Heineken's vision and
inspiring leadership. We are very grateful
to him for the pleasant co-operation for
so many years. We hope to benefit for
a long time to come from the experience
and wisdom of Mr. Heineken in his posi
tions as Chairman and delegate member
of the Supervisory Council.
