IN LA ROCHELLE, FRANCE, the Archiball Boys 1971 Grand Prix for cyclists revealed a champion till then unknown; Gerard Bourron, son of the local Heineken distributor. The distance covered and winner's time are not worth mentioning because that day was much too warm for prolonged, prodigious pedalling. Fortunately, Monique of the Bar Le Vauban, followed right behind the competitors in a car abundantly stocked with cold Heineken beer, or they might not have reached the finish line at all. THE WINNAH, Gerard Bourron, de clared he could not have managed as well without refreshing Heineken beer and the perfect service of Monique's revitalisation car.
