If you're used to serving Heine
ken beer from bottles at promo
tions, dispensing a fine glass of
beer from the dispenser tap is not
as easy as you think. Heineken pro
motion girl Julie from Taipei tested
her tap dispensing skills - to every
one's complete satisfaction - at the
recent Holland Products Exhibi
tion, a major trade fair held in
Taipei (Taiwan). At the exhibition,
which attracted 60,000 visitors,
Heineken agent Tait Co. was
present with the Heineken 'brown
café' which was designed by Hans
van Hoogdalem of Advertising
Services.

Also present was Heineken's
former Export Director, G.R.
Habbershaw. Together with R.L.J.
Stevens, head of the Heineken
office in New York, he received
many guests, including Mr. Leo
van Munching Jr. and his vice-

Netherlands Consul General in
New York. Mr. J. Wessels, was
also in attendance at the official
inauguration, as were representa

Mr. Stevens recalled in his
speech that it was not the first time
Leo van Munching is the first to put
that Mr. Van Munching had offi

New York. In 1981 he performed
the opening ceremony for the
brand-new Heineken New York
office together with Charlene, the
daughter of Mr. A.H. Heineken.
To mark the official opening of
the new office on Third Avenue
Mr. Van Munching was asked to
unveil a photograph. The picture
shows a glass of Heineken in the
middle of a field and the caption at
the bottom reads 'This must be

of the Heineken office as a small
part of Holland in the United
States. After the unveiling all the
guests put their signatures on the
Heineken glass on the photo.
The most important task of the
Heineken office in New York is the
coordination of all activities bet
ween the Heineken production and
export departments in the Nether
lands and the Van Munching
organisation in the United States in
order to ensure the smooth supply
of the various Heineken products
to the United States.
